In this video we take a look at the FIRMA sneak peak demo for the Oculus rift DK2.

The Firma demo gives you a sneak peek at the flight mechanics of the game with a collection of missions and tasks taking place on the toasty surface of mars.

The game runs well with the DK2 and it's yet another demonstration of how well cockpit space games work with the Rift. You really do feel as if you are inside a vehicle peering out over an alien world.

If you enjoyed lunar flight then I'd certainly recommend trying FIRMA. Though more arcade in its presentations and physics it very much has the same experiential feel to it which can only be a good thing !

The FIRMA demo will be out next week at which point we will post a link to the download and you can then review it for yourself !

I never had a chance to play Bubble Bobble in the arcade but now thanks to New Retro arcade the Oculus rift DK2 and a Datal arcade pro stick I can come close to the experience.

I highly recommend playing New Retro Arcade with a proper arcade stick as it really adds to the experience and helps sell the feeling that you are playing on a real arcade machine.

Surprisingly everything works incredibly well with no noticeable latency from the controller or the game, so much so that this is now my favorite way to play old MAME games !

We review Lunar Flight With the Oculus rift DK2 and find out that it's most certainly a must have VR title !

If a developer took the concept of Atari's Lunar Lander then turned it into more of a simulator along with multiple missions and near seamless VR support Lunar lander is probably what you would get.

Please be aware that in this review we focus on the virtual reality / Oculus Rift Development kit 2 implementation !

You can buy the game here http://www.shovsoft.com/lunarflight/

The system used to review this game was a core i5 2500k , GTX970 with 8GB ram and windows 7. The game ran exceptionally well with no jitter or frame rate issues.

Fed up of having a naked Oculus rift ?.. then you need to check out VRCover from VRcover.com ! In this video we review the VRcover and see if its worth the $19 asking price.

With an order of VRCOVER you get three covers a small bag and a nifty Velcro strap allowing you to throw DK2 parties and not worry about other-peoples face germs making you ill the next day.

We also found that the VRcover does a good job of hiding the DK2 plastic smell, feels slightly cooler on the face than the foam and all in all simply adds an additional level of comfort to the Oculus rift.

If you use your DK2 a lot or especially share it around and want a nice cover to make your DK2 feel loved I'd certainly recommend getting one.

You can get VR cover here : http://vrcover.com/?itm=12 ( This is a referral link that helps GMV ! )

We walk on a highly detailed virtual recreation of the Titanic with the Oculus Rift DK2 !

Download the Demo here : http://www.titanichg.com/ ( warning it requires a beast of a PC to run smooth !

Unfortunately the indiegogo.com has now ended with luck though the developers will still be working on similar projects in the future !
